HOSTEL- PART 1

So lets begin...
"You happen to live in one of the most hospitable and comfortable hostels with a wonderful mess that has 3 servings for a breakfast"- Maa

Now based on my experiences in the DCE Hostel, you can surely count on me when I say that,
" hostel happens to be one of the most bizarre, entertaining yet inhospitable places on earth".

Mess ka khana.
Talking about the experiences at my "wonderful" hostel I think the part that certainly needs a priority in mention is "Mess ka khaana".
( AAAAAhhhhhh! Donno why but naam sunte hi main senti o jaata hun! Sorry!)
Mess food at first sight seems to be a total delight! 3 servings at breakfast with tea n milk is flagrant, a lunch with salad/raita, a dinner with sweet-dish… aah! sounds delicious! Doesn’t it??? But rest assured "delicious" is the last word that u associate with mess. After a month of residence at hostel, only thing that you can differentiate between all that is served is the color. ( Lunches are white-yellow-brown, dinners are brown-red/ lime yellow- brown). Goddamn! Every dish tastes the same.
(Needless to say usually ap, kanika n tronics ppl bear the brunt at lunches(I attack their lunch boxes rather that gorging on the flamboyant mess ka khana). But thanx ppl! Ur lunches save a hungry child!)

My roomie
Antariksh(my roomie cum classmate) happens to b one of the most docile/peace loving creature on the planet. But the only flaw in his personality is his complete docile nature, damn it!. U no what? He wont say a thing even if u come to his/my room and leave with all his belongings, lest of course, he doesn’t say a thing even when they leave with my stuff (people come n use my deodorant all the time, n he is like, oh! They must be Abhishek's friend and they have a divine right to use his deo).Else he happens to be one of the most sincere, hardworking and studious persons I've ever met. Never bickering or quibbling over things, I cherish him as my ever supporting roomie.

Room no 122(Bhaskar Maneet)
Bhaskar n Maneet ( from room-122/common room part 2) happen to be my dearest neighbors'. But am still in a limbo if having them as neighbors' happens to be the greatest boon or bane of being a hosteler. As said, their room happens to be the common room for us CVR friends group. U can enter leave the room n use the room for any purpose and everything they own(from undies to overalls to comp to bed). Lately even they have realized the same and migrate to other rooms at exam time for serious studies.
Still room 122 reigns supreme when it comes to all the masti that can happen in hostel.

Bhaskar and Maneet -
Unambiguously, Now these two people are the most indispensible part of my hostel life. Life without them is unimaginable!( Even with them it is the same). So who first?
Lets start with Maneet! Maneet is certainly the most unorganized person in college. His carefree neglect of all that belongs to him, and being disorganized is totally amazing , i.e. u can use all his belongings and make his room a complete piece of garbage n he still wont give a damn. Lol. Lend him with your belongings and rest assured u wont get them back in single piece.
On the other hand he is most understanding and sensitive when it comes to his friends. Works really hard when on for something (but rarely! Like when his ass is on fire in exams). Every day is an adventure with him around.
Bhaskar is BBC. Lol. Carefree he is in his living, in his talks and even his preparations for end sems. Works really hard. Really helpful fellow. Always in to organizing things for IEEE, doing stuff… robotics etc. We share a wonderful camaraderie. N yes! He is the one always getting cookies from home n I love to empty his stocks.(but off lately cupboard hi lock kar diya hai kamine ne!)

Bhalu(ARJUN)
This fellow is insanely in love with sleeping. Saala! Exam ke din bhi raat ke 2 baje so jaata hai! Else "Freaky-Geek" he is, i.e. freaks u out sometimes with his geeky interests in weird games and songs. He is also closest in his ways to follow the satanic principles. Apart from that he is also brainy, understanding complete theory of digital electronics in one go proves his forte.

Barue(Abhishek baruah)
Another "viola" of hostel. Lean he is, but not his requirements. Eats n enjoys helluva mess food. Is always up-to-date with all the assignments and lab files. Source of our groups worst PJ's. Always a reliable companion in the times of peril. But the most important use of baruah is as your vent for anger. U can always plot with bhaskar n bash him up for all ur frustrations.lol.

Nikhil Nassa, kumar abhishek and rohit-lallad
Last but not the least the group isn't complete without the likes of Nassa, Kumar and Rohit. Nassa is our latest source of worst PJ's. (secret: Nassa is a real "chupa rustam"). Kumar is most athletic of us all, always in to games and sports. Rarely attends classes and is always a companion in all our shenanigans. Rohit is Mr. busy guy.

The guy named Abhishek Kumar
"Freak" is one word for him.(although he prefers to be called Satan's boy or warlock). He is mean, wicked and complete psycho. Doesn’t tolerate his belongings to be handled by any one. Keeps quibbling over petty issues. Not that interesting a person.
Else he does imbibe some good characteristics… like… mmmmmm…..unable to recall rite now.
Always keeps stuff in his laptop, from movies to songs to pics. A movie-song buff. Ghissu at the time of exams. Has deep interest in philosophy, meaning of life n stuff. Ok-ok types.
